Educational Qualification:
For the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF), applicants should have completed ME/M. Tech in a relevant field or a Master’s degree in Physics or a related field with consistently good academic performance (minimum 60% or equivalent CGPA). They must also have a valid CSIR/UGC-NET qualification or GATE score.
For the post of Project Assistant, candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Physics or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, also with good academic record (minimum 60% marks or equivalent).

Selection Process
Applicants applying for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Project Assistant positions at NIT Agartala should first submit their applications along with a CV and scanned copies of the required documents. Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications. Shortlisted candidates will then attend an interview which is expected to be held either online or offline on July 25, 2024.
During the interview, applicants will be required to submit the originals of their educational and experience certificates for verification. Final selection will be based on interview performance and suitability for the project.
