Each year the board conducts the Test to determine the teacher’s eligibility. Test to assess the eligibility of applicants. In preparation for Examiners for the Exam, the WB TET 2023 Exam The board released an official announcement on September 13, 2023. Many applications were received between 14 September until the 4th October of 2023. After that, officials handed out admit cards for qualified candidates.
Initially, the test was scheduled for the 10th of December in 2023, however later, it was moved to 23 December 2023. Since the test has been successful and the board is expected to release the WB TET Results in the coming weeks.
West Bengal TET Exam Overview
The board conducted an online OMR-Based Test. The test consisted of 150 multiple choice questions within the test. The questions were offered in both English as well as Bengali language. Each question earned one mark with no negative markings for wrong answers. Candidates were given three hours to complete the test.
WB TET Result Preparation Process
Participants have sent the answer sheets to their supervisors. The board is currently conducting an evaluation of the sheets. After the answer sheet of each candidate has been evaluated and the board has made a decision, it will select the candidates by their scores. The board is expected to announce WB TET Results WB TET Results by April of 2024. Candidates need to verify their eligibility status on their own on the official website of the board only.
WB Teacher Eligibility Test Qualifying Marks
In the Notification of the West Bengal TET that each candidate needs to obtain marks greater that or equivalent to minimum qualification marks set by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education. Based on the guidelines set by the Board, applicants must score 60percent or higher scores to be deemed qualified for the test.
The applicant must be able to score at least 90 marks from 150 to be able to pass the exam. For candidates belonging to the categories of SC/STor OBC-A/OBC-Bor Differently Abled Categories as well as Ex-serviceman, the minimum required marks are 55 percentage only.
