NPCIL Stipendiary Trainee Eligibility 2024
To be considered for NPCIL Stipendiary Trainee position Candidates must meet the required requirements:

Stipend and Pay Structure:
Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN) – Operator:
- 1st Year: Rs20,000 per month
- 2nd Year: Rs 22,000 per month
- Book Allowance (one-time grant): Rs3,000
Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN) – Maintainer:
Following successful completion of the training after successful completion of training, you will be promoted as Technician/B (Group-C) in the Level 3, of the Revised Pay Structure will be granted with an annual salary of Rs21,700 with possible increments of Rs21,700 depending on your performance.

Selection Process for NPCIL Stipendiary Trainee Recruitment
The NPCIL Stipendiary Trainee Selection Process involves a written test in two stages.
- Initial Test It is a one-hour test that includes 50 multiple-choice tests concerning Mathematics, Science, and General Awareness. The minimum passing score is 40% for general candidates, and 30 percent for reserved categories.
- Advanced test: This 2-hour exam contains 50 multiple-choice tests relevant to the particular trade. Candidates must score at minimum 30% for general and 20 percent for reserved classes to pass.
Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (Operator) there is no skills test is required. The candidates who are qualified will be referred to take a Physical Standard Test/Document Verification and three multiples of the positions being selected for shortlisting.
In the case of Category II Stipendiary Trainee (Maintainer) the Skills Test will be administered. The number of applicants for this test will be five to five times that of the available positions candidates, and those who scored equally qualified. Skill Test Skill Test is a qualification test and the final decision will be determined by Stage 2 examination scores.
