Education Qualification:- Chief Hydrographer (CH)
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience on The Hydrographer Bench in the Indian Navy in the rank of Captain.
- It is mandatory to be an Corporate member of the Institute of Surveyors (India) or equivalent recognized by Govt. of India
- Experience with river waterways is highly desirable.
Period of Deputation:
The officer is deputized for a period of 3 years beginning from the day of taking the charge of the position which can be extended up to two years. In certain circumstances, it can be extended to 2 years with the permission of the lending organisation.
Pay Scale:- Rs.1,00,000 – 2,60,000/- at SMP, Kolkata
