Eligibility criteria for Indian Army recruitment 2024
Education Qualification:-
1. Direct Entry Havildar –
- The minimum educational qualification is a university entrance qualification.
Sports Achievements –
The selection will be made from among those who are represented in one of the sports and games listed above:-
AA) Participants should be medal winners at junior/senior level representing the state in national competitions or representing the country at international level (Indl event).
(ab) The individual represents a state or country in national or international competitions at junior/senior level (team competition).
(ac) Individuals should be medal winners at Khelo India Games and Youth Games or above.
Age limit: The age limit for enrollment is between 17 ½ and 25 years if you are 17 ½ years old on the first day of enrollment and not older than 25 years on the last day of enrollment.
2. Direct Entry Naib Subedar –
- The minimum educational qualification will be matriculation.
Sports performance:-
(a) A person should have won a medal at the World Championships/Asian Championships.
(ab) A person must have won a medal at the Asian Games.
(ac) A person must have won a medal at the CWG/World Championships.
(ad) Has represented India twice at the Asian Games/Commonwealth Games/World Championships. (a) Represented India in the Olympic Games.
Age limit: The age limit for enrollment is between 17 ½ and 25 years if you are 17 ½ years old on the first day of enrollment and not older than 25 years on the last day of enrollment.
Selection process for the recruitment of the Indian Army 2024
Indian Army Recruitment 2024 Selection process for Habildar and Naib Subedar posts in the Indian Army Shortlisted candidates are issued call-up letters for trials at designated army centres. These tests include physical fitness tests, standard physical tests and aptitude tests for certain sports. Suitable applicants undergo a medical examination at the trial location.
