The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has released the official announcement for Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification Required
To be able to apply for Haryana Police Constable 2024 Recruitment Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Awarded 10+2 by an accredited educational board or institution.
- Matric includes Hindi and Sanskrit being one subject.
Age Limit
The limit on age of candidates is set at 18-25 years on September 1 2024. A five-year age relaxation applies to candidates from SC, BCA, BCB and EWS categories in accordance with regulations of the government.
Selection Process
The process of selection for Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024 is rigorous and comprises several steps:
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Candidates must take a PMT according to the requirements of the Haryana Police Service Rules.
- Physical Screening Test (PST): This test assesses the endurance and physical fitness of the participants in an endurance race with different distances, based on gender and class.
- Males: 2.5 km in 12 minutes
- Females: 1.0 km in 6 minutes
- Servicemen who have left: 1.0 km in 5 minutes
- Knowledge Test: Candidates who pass the PMT and PST will be selected for the Knowledge Test, which will be an objective test that will carry 94.5 percent weightage. The test will focus on General Studies, General Science, Current Affairs, General Reasoning Mental Aptitude and Numerical Ability and Agriculture and Animal Husbandry as well as other relevant areas. The test will also evaluate basic computer skills and provide information about Haryana.
