NPCIL Stipendiary Trainee Eligibility 2024

Stipend and Pay Structure:
Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN) – Operator:
- 1st Year: Rs20,000 per month
- Second Year: 22,000 for a month
- Book Allowance (one-time grant): Rs3,000
Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN) – Maintainer:
Following successful completion of the training After successful completion of the training, you can be appointed for Technician/B (Group-C) at the level 3. Revised Pay Structure, with an annual salary of Rs21,700 with possible increments of Rs21,700 dependent on the performance.

Selection Process for NPCIL Stipendiary Trainee Recruitment
The NPCIL Stipendiary Trainees selection process involves a written test in two stages.
- Initial Test The exam lasts for one hour and contains 50 multiple-choice test questions regarding Mathematics, Science, and General Awareness. The minimum passing score is 40% for general candidates, and 30 percent for reserved categories.
- Advanced test: This 2-hour exam includes 50 multiple-choice test questions that are relevant to the particular trade. Candidates must score at minimum 30% in general and 20 percent within reserved areas to pass.
Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (Operator) there is no skills test is required. Candidates who have passed the test will be referred for Physical Standard Test or Document Verification Three multiples of the vacant positions being selected.
For Category II Stipendiary Trainees (Maintainer) the Skills Test will be held. The number of applicants for the test could be as high as five times the number of positions available candidates, and those who scored equally qualified. Skill Test Skill Test is a qualification test and the final decision will be determined by Stage 2 test scores.
