Eligibility Requirements
Educational Qualifications
For Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (Operator)
- Candidates must have passed HSC (10+2) or ISC in the Science stream, which includes subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with at least 50% marks on aggregate.
- Candidates should also be able to demonstrate English in one or more of the subjects in the SSC exam.
For Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (Maintainer)
- Candidates must have passed SSC (10th) and have at least 50 percent scores with a minimum of 50% marks Science and Mathematics.
- Candidates should also have an ITI certificate for two years. ITI certification in the relevant trades like Electrician, Fitter, Instrumentation, Electronics, Machinist, Turner or Welder.
- For trades that require ITI courses that last less than two years the minimum requirement is one year of working experience following qualification is required.
Age Limit (As of 11 August 2024)
The maximum age for applicants is 18-24 years old as of September 11, 2024. Age relaxation is permitted as per the government’s rules for categories reserved by law which include SC/ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), PwBD, and other categories.

Male Candidates who fall under the categories General/OBC/EWS have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs100 to participate in this recruitment campaign. However, female candidates from SC/ST categories, People who have Benchmark Disability (PwBDs) and former servicemen are exempt from paying fees for application.
