HSSC Police Constable Eligibility 2024
Educational Qualification:
- The candidate must have completed 10+2 at a recognized educational body or recognized institution.
- A Matric examination that includes Hindi as well Sanskrit being one of them is required.
Note: There is no additional weightage will be granted to higher education.
Age Limit:
- The candidate must be 18 and 25 at the time of the 1st September 2024.
Age Relaxation:
- Ex-servicemen can take an absence from service for up to 4 years.
- Candidates for SC/BC/EWS can enjoy an age reduction of 5 years or more.
Haryana Police Constable Selection Process 2024
The process of selecting a candidate consists of a number of steps:
Physical Measurement Test (PMT):
Candidates must meet certain physical requirements as per Haryana Police guidelines.
Physical Screening Test (PST):
- Male candidates: 2.5 km run in 12 minutes
- Female candidates: 1km run in 6 mins
- Ex-servicemen: 1 km run in 5 minutes
Knowledge Test:
- The test has the weightage of 94.5 percent. It also contains objective questions.
- The test’s medium is bilingual (Hindi/English) in all cases, unless the test is for language proficiency.
- Candidates must score at minimum 50% in order to qualify for general category positions. In reserved category, the threshold is 40%..
- Candidates who have NCC certificates will be awarded an additional mark (1-3 marks, based on the certification level).
