Educational qualification:
The applicant should have completed the prescribed school certificate ( High School / 10th grade) with at least 50% marks and vocational training in a recognised profession as at the date of publication of the advertisement.
Age Limit:
Candidates must not be less than 15 years and not more than 24 years as on 12.06.2024. In case of SC/ST applicants, the upper age limit will be reduced by 5 years and in case of OBC applicants, the upper age limit will be reduced by 3 years. For Divyang applicants, a maximum age reduction of 10 years is permitted.
Scholarship Details:
The selected candidates will be paid stipend at the prescribed rates as per applicable rules/instructions during the course of training.

Candidates are required to submit their applications and processing fee online through the N.E. Railway website www.ner.indianrailways.gov.in.
Selection Process:
Selection of candidates eligible for Apprenticeship under the Apprentice Act, 1961, will be made on the basis of merit list prepared from the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidates in Matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) and ITI examination, both being equally weighted.
Processing Fee:
Candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- as processing fee. SC / ST / Divyang (PwBD) / Female candidates are exempted from paying the processing fee.
