Eligibility Criteria for Aliah University Recruitment 2024
Education Qualification:-
1. Technical Assistant: Grade-I (Dept. of Electrical Engineering)
- Applicants must have completed B.E./ B. Tech. 2 years experience as Lab / Workshop Technician / Technical Assistant in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institute or equivalent in a recognized Educational Institution / Industry.
- or
- First class Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Diploma as Lab/Workshop Technician/Technical Assistant from a recognized institution or equivalent experience in a recognized educational institution/industry.
Age Limit:- Candidates’ upper age limit should be 40 years according to their posts as per the last date of receipt of the application form.
2. Technical Assistant: Grade-I (Dept. of Geography) –
- Candidate must have passed with honors. Bachelors in Geography with 1 yr. PG/ UG Lab work experience. Geography as a Technical Assistant in an Academic Institute.
Age Limit – Candidates’ upper age limit should be 40 years according to their posts as per the last date of receipt of the application form.

Application Process for Aliah University Recruitment 2024
Eligible and interested candidates who wish to apply for the post of Technical Assistant (Grade-1) in Aliah University must visit the official website of the University www.aliah.ac.in and download the application form. After filling the form, candidates have to pay the required application fee through bank transfer as mentioned in the advertisement. The completed application form along with the required documents such as age proof, educational qualification certificate, experience proof and bank transfer proof should be sent to the Registrar Office, Alia University, Kolkata-700160 in a sealed envelope.
The envelope must be clearly marked “Application for [name of post] Advertisement No. AU/Apptt.-2/2024” Applications must reach the office on or before July 25, 2024.
