Eligibility Criteria for APSC Recruitment 2024
Educational Qualification The Enforcement Inspector (El) in the Transport Department
- Candidate must hold an undergraduate degree in Arts or Science or Commerce from an institution recognized by the Govt of Assam or H.S,S,L,C with a 3 (three) three-year diplomas in either Mechanical or Automobile Engineering from a recognized institution of the Govt of Assamor Govt. of India and is also acknowledged by AICTE.
Age Limit Age Limit: Candidates must not be younger than 21 and not over 38 years as of 01.01.2024
The maximum age limit is able to be relaxed:
(i) within 5 years in the case of SC/ST Candidates i.e. between 43 and 44 years old.
(ii) Candidates from OBC/MOBC within 3 years, the e. up to 41 years, as per the government. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9, dated Dispur the 25th of April, 2018.
(iii) For ex-servicemen the age limit for ex-servicemen shall equal 50 (fifty) years from 01.01.2024 for those in the non-reserved category which is subject to a relaxation of three (three) years in the case of oBCor MOBC candidates and five (five) five years in the case of SCand ST. According to Govt Notification to Candidates No. ABP. 48/2009/84, dated 19th December 2022.

Selection Process for APSC Recruitment 2024
