The commission issued an advertisement number. 02/2023. It also invited online applications from qualified candidates. The registration procedure was scheduled to run from 27 September through 11 November 2023, but later, the deadline was extended until 11 December 2023. The deadline to pay fees for registration was on the 9th of December 2023.
During this period, many applicants complete and submit their applications on their official site of the commission. In the near future, BSSC will issue Inter-Level Admit Cards for candidates who have been selected to be considered for the vacancies posted. Candidates must download the invitation letter and then appear for the initial examination that will be scheduled.
BSSC Lipik Selection Process
The process of selecting candidates will be made by following the steps.
- Preliminary Examination
- Mains Examination
In the first phase candidates must qualify for the prelims test. The commission will then shortlist the applicants according to their scores for their marks in the Main Exam. Candidates who are able to pass both exams will need to provide their original documents.
Bihar Inter-Level Exam Pattern
- The preliminary Exam will consist of 150 questions.
- All questions will be written in MCQ Format.
- Each question will be taken for four marks.
- The answer will result in a negative mark of one point for each incorrect answer.
- Questions will be provided in Hindiand English language only.
- The test will be 2 hours long plus 15 mins.

Bihar Inter-Level Admit Card Details
BSSC Level Admit Card: The Inter Level admit card will include the following information.
- Applicant’s Name
- Date of Birth
- Roll Number
- Gender & Category
- Signature & Passport-Size Photograph
- Exam Date & Time
- Examination Venue
- General Instructions
Candidates are advised to verify these information prior to going to the test. All applicants’ personal information must be correct and in line with the information on the original form. It is mandatory to carry a replica of your BSSC Inter Level Admit Card, an original identification proof, as well as recent passport-sized photos. Candidates won’t be allowed to be admitted into the exam hall without these items.
