Eligibility Criteria for Calcutta University Recruitment 2024
Education Qualification:-
1. Project Associate -I –
- Candidates must have completed B.E./ B.Tech. with a degree in Engineering/ Technology with a focus on Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline with a good academic track record.
2. Project Associate -II –
- Candidates must be able to pass the test as above and have two years of experience with Research & Development in Industryor an Academic Institute.
Desirable Qualification:
(i) Candidates who have M.E.or M.Tech with a focus on Electronics & Communication or VLSI Design / or related discipline.
(ii) (iii) Project Associate-II, a qualifying GATE/NET score is preferred.
(iii) The knowledge of operating systems based on Linux.
(iv) A working knowledge of image/signal processing and machines learning methods.
age limit Candidates’ maximum age must be 35 years in accordance to the post they hold as of the date of last acceptance of an application. (5 years of relaxation for SCor STor OBCwomen/ physically disabled applicants).
Fellowship (Pay Scale):
Project Associate -I: Rs.40,000/- per month + 10% increment per annum.
Project Associate -II: Rs.45,000/- per month + 10% increment per annum.
Selection Process for Calcutta University Recruitment 2024
The process of selecting candidates for the position as a Project Associate in Calcutta University involves a scheduled walk-in interview. Candidates who are shortlisted will be informed by mail or telephone. Selection will be made based on the merits, interview results, and previous experience in the field of interest. No TA/DA is paid for the time spent at the interview.
