CRPF Head Constable Recruitment 2024 The CRPF launched a Special Recruitment Drive under compassionate grounds for the post of Head Constable Ministerial. This recruitment drive is only for dependent family members who are eligible and meet certain criteria, such as a death in action or service-related death. CRPF Head Constable Eligibility
CRPF is conducting a special recruitment drive for the post Head Constable (Ministerial). This will be done through compassionate appointments. The applicants must hold an Intermediate (10+2) degree or equivalent. Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 25.

CRPF Head Constable PET/PST Details
The CRPF Head Constable position (Ministerial) is subject to a PST (Physical Standard Test), and a PET (Physical Efficiency Test).
Physical Standard Test Candidates for the CRPF head constable (Ministerial position) must meet the following standards.
- Height : Minimum height for males is 165 cm, and minimum height for females is 155 cm.
- Chest Minimum 77 cm unexpanded for males and 82 cm when expanded. Not applicable to females.
- Weight: According to height and age according to medical standards.
Physical Efficiency (PET) Test: Candidates are required to complete the following tasks as part of the PET.
- 1.6 km Race: Male candidates must finish within 6 minutes and 30 seconds.
- 800 meter race: for female candidates, within four minutes and 45 seconds.
CRPF Recruitment of Head Constables 2024: Application Process
Offline applications are accepted for the position of Head Constable Ministerial under CRPF’s compassionate appointment drive. The application should be sent to the office or unit where the CRPF member last served.
Please ensure that the application form is completed completely and sent either via registered/speed mail or hand. Please note that any applications received after this date will not considered.
Selection Process for CRPF Chief Constable
The selection process includes multiple stages. The candidates will be required to pass the Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Tests (PET), Document Verification Tests, Skill Tests, Written Tests, and Detailed Medical Examinations (DME/Review Medical Examinations (RME).
The final selection is based on how the candidate performs in these tests. This will depend on whether the candidate meets all the eligibility criteria as well as other conditions stated in the notice.
