Eligibility Criteria for Eastern Railway Recruitment 2024
Education Qualification:- Consultant (Land Acquisition)
- Retired officer of State Government who had superannuated from Revenue Departments as LAO (land acquisition officer) / Additional LAO or alike in State Govt of West Bengal / Jharkhand. The State Government officials with experience in land acquisition land survey work in respective states would be given preference.
- Medical Fitness of the Candidates Shall be A-3 Standard to be certified by Sr.DMO/ DMO.
Age limit:- The age limit for such re-employment is 65 years. No redeployed employee may remain in service beyond the age of 65.
Pay Scale:- During the contract period, a fixed monthly amount is admissible as remuneration, the basic pension being deducted from the salary drawn at the time of retirement. The amount thus determined remains unchanged during the term of the contract.

Eligible and interested candidates who wish to apply for the post of Consultant (Land Acquisition) in the Construction Department of Eastern Railway are required to fill up the application form for Retired Officers of West Bengal or Jharkhand Revenue Department given in Annexure II of the notification. The completed application forms along with copies of requisite documents should be sent by post to the office of Senior Personnel Officer (CON), Head.
