Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
Candidates who are applying for the HCL Apprentice Recruitment 2024 must meet the following qualifications in their education:
- Mate (Mines) and Blaster (Mines): It is required to have passed the 10th/Matric examination using the 10+2 system of education or the equivalent.
- The Other Trades The applicant must pass the 10th/Matric test in the 10+2 system education or the equivalent. must be an ITI completed in the relevant trade from an accredited institute.
Candidates who have higher qualifications like Diploma, B.E., B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, or equivalent are not eligible to apply for this position. In addition, candidates who successfully completed ITI by 2021 or before must submit an affidavit that proves they did not have apprenticeship or employment elsewhere prior to.
Age Limit (As of 01 August 2024)
The age of candidates must be between 18 and 25 as of the 01 August 2024. An age five-year relaxation applies to SC/ST candidates, and three years to OBC candidates. The guidelines of the government regarding age relaxation will be observed.

Selection Process
The process for securing the HRC Apprenticeship Recruitment is dependent on merit. This merit listing will be compiled by analyzing the marks achieved in ITI and the 10th standard. There will be a an average weightage of 30 percent in the case of ITI mark and 70 percent for 10th board marks. For trades such as Mate (Mines) or Blaster (Mines) in which ITI is not necessary the 100% weightage will be assigned to marks from the 10th standard. If there is an undisputed tie, the more senior candidate will have the upper hand.
