IBPS RRB Exam dates 2024
According to the IBPS Calendar, the IBPS RRB prelims for Officer Assistant and officer scale 1 will take place on August 3, 4, 10, 17, and 18, 2024. Officer Scale 1’s main exam, as well as single-level examinations for Officer Scale II, III and II, is scheduled for September 29, 2024. The Office Assistant main exam is scheduled for October 6th 2024. Details of the exam are given in the IBPS Calendar published earlier in 2024.

Exam Pattern for IBPS RRB Exam 2024
Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
Preliminary Examination: This preliminary examination consists of two sections, Reasoning and Numerical Abilities. Each section contains 40 questions with a maximum score of 40. This exam will last 45 minutes.
Mains Examination: The mains examination consists of five sections: Reasoning (or Numerical Ability), General Awareness, English Language or Hindi Language, and Computer Knowledge. Each section contains 40 questions. Each section has a maximum score of 50. The sections on Reasoning and Numerical Abilities have a total of 40. The total duration of the test is two hours.
Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)
Preliminary Examination: This preliminary examination consists of two sections, Reasoning and Quantitative Ability. Each section contains 40 questions with a maximum score of 40. This exam will last 45 minutes.

Mains Examination: This exam consists of five sections: English Language, Computer Knowledge, English Language or Hindi Language, and Quantitative Aptitude. Each section contains 40 questions. Each section has a maximum score of 50. The sections on Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude have a total of 40. Total duration is two hours.
Officer Scale II (General Banking Officer).
Exam for Single Level: The exam has six sections, including Reasoning, Data Interpretation & Quantitative Aptitude, English Language or Hindi Language, and Computer Knowledge. Each section contains 40 questions. Each section has a maximum score of 50. The sections on Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Language have maximum scores of 40 each. Computer Knowledge is scored at 20. The total duration of the test is 2 hours, 30 minutes.
Officer Scale II (Specialist Cadre).
Exam at a single level: The exam consists of seven sections, including Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, Computer Language, English Language, or Hindi Language. Each section contains 40 questions. Each section has a maximum score of 40. The sections on Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Professional Knowledge have 40 points each. The total duration of the test is 2 hours, 30 minutes.

Officer Scale III (Senior Managers)
Exam at a single level: IBPS RRB 2024 Exam The exam is divided into five sections, including Reasoning, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation (or Hindi Language), Financial Awareness, English Language, and Computer Knowledge. Each section contains 40 questions. Each section has a maximum score of 50. The sections on Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Financial Awareness, Language, and Computer Knowledge have maximum scores of 40 each. The total duration of the test is 2 hours, 30 minutes.
IBPS RRB Selection Process 2024
The IBPS RRB selection process varies depending on the position. The selection process for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) involves a preliminaries exam, followed by the main exam.
Candidates must pass the main exam and interview to be eligible for Officer Scale I (Assistant manager).
Officer Scale III (Senior Management) and Officers Scale II (General Banking Officers and Specialist Cadres) are subject to a one-level examination followed by an interview.
Final selection will be based on the performance of these tests and the interview.
