The process of selection for Indian Bank Local Bank Officers comprises two ways. Based on the number of applications received and the number of applications received, the Bank will, at its own discretion, will choose the method of selection. They are as follows:

Indian Bank LBO Minimum Qualifying Score
Based on the number of vacant positions and the number of vacancies, the cut-offs for overall marks are determined in accordance with the number of vacancies, and candidates are selected for interview. If the required number of applicants aren’t in the list of candidates meeting the qualification requirements and it is the Bank is entitled to reduce the cut-offs or qualifying marks at its own discretion. Indian Bank LBO Interview Process
Candidates who pass an exam will be selected to the interview round. The number of applicants to be invited for the interview process following the score of the written test is three times the amount of vacancies for the non-reserved category, and five times the number of vacant positions for reserved categories. The weightage of interview and written test will be based on Written Test and Interview will be set at an 80:20 ratio. If the Authority chooses the candidates on the application, then an interview, it will count 100% as the interview Score in order to select the candidates.
Indian Bank LBO Merit List
Indian Bank will release the Merit List for candidates for the LBO test. This Final Merit List will be made available in the case of two or more candidates scoring the same during the test and interview. In this case the merit list is determined based on the date of birth of the candidates with the candidate who is senior in age placed over the candidate of junior the age range.
Indian Bank LBO Probation Period
The candidates selected are on probation for 2 years starting from the date of their joining. Their acceptance into the Bank’s service is decided by the rules that are contained in Indian Bank Officers Service Regulations 1979.
