JIPMER Group B And C Skill Test

The test of skill assessment for the post mentioned below is of a qualification nature:

Senior Translation Officer The test will comprise two parts that are for translation: one passage to translate of Hindi into English and another to translate between English to Hindi to test the candidates’ translation abilities as well as their capacity to compose and understand both languages accurately using the computer. The length of the test is two hours.

Stenographer Grade II The applicants have 10 minutes to complete the task at a rate of w.p.m. The topic must be recorded in the computer in less than 50 minutes.

Junior Administrative Assistant

  • Part A: Typing a letter/passage/paragraph on a computer (25 marks). A typing rate of 35 w.p.m in English and 30 w.p.m in Hindi only on the computer (35 w.p.m along with 30 w.p.m equal 10500 KDPH or 9000 KDPH in an average of five key depressions per word).
  • Part B: Preparation of Table/Database in MS Excel. The total marks are 50 and the time limit is 20 minutes for the two sections. Candidates will be provided with the content of the question paper, and they will have to write on the answer sheet, which includes the formatting of the text. The qualifying marks are 25 marks out of 50 and applicants must achieve 50% marks independently for Part A and B.

Orthopaedic Technician/Anesthesia Technician/Audiology Technician – Approximately 4 to 8 stations will be created to evaluate the skill-based performance of the candidates on various instruments.
