RRB ALP CBT 1 Examination procedure
The RRB ALP CBT 1 exam is conducted online and consists of 75 questions, worth a total of 75 marks. Candidates have 60 minutes to complete the exam. The questions cover four subject areas: Mathematics (20 questions), General Intelligence and Logical Reasoning (25 questions), General Science (20 questions) and General Knowledge of Current Affairs (10 questions). There is 1 point for each correct answer and a deduction of ⅓ point for each incorrect answer.
RRB ALP CBT 2 Examination Scheme
The RRB ALP CBT 2 exam is conducted online in two parts and comprises a total of 175 questions and 175 marks. Part A comprises 100 questions from the areas of General Intelligence & Reasoning, Basic Science & Engineering and General Awareness of Current Affairs, for which 90 minutes are available. Part B focuses on the respective profession/discipline with 75 questions that must be answered in 60 minutes. For each correct answer in both parts there is 1 point, for each wrong answer a deduction of ⅓.
RRB ALP CBT qualification score
To pass the RRB ALP exams, candidates must achieve the minimum scores set by the exam board. For CBT 1 and CBT 2, the required percentage is 40% for UR, 30% for OBC, 30% for SC and 25% for ST. In the CBAT (aptitude test), applicants must score at least 42 points to qualify.
