SBI Recruitment 2024 State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the selection of athletes for various positions in the Sport Quota. The recruitment drive is designed to fill 68 positions in the officers’ and clerical cadres. The bank is inviting skilled sportsmen to work for one of India’s biggest banks. People who have made outstanding achievements in sports in fields such as football, basketball, cricket hockey, volleyball, table tennis, kabaddi and badminton should apply.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- officers (Junior Management Grade Scale, I): Graduation from an approved school in any discipline.
- Clerical Cadre Should represent the State at an National event, or the District in a State-level event, or represented the University in an Inter-University competition in a distinguished manner, or been a part or the Combined Universities Team with distinction.
Age Limit (As of 01 April 2024)
- To be used for officers (Junior Manager Grade Scale) Posts: 21 to 30 years
- For Clerical Cadres: 20 to 28 years
Notification: Relaxation in the upper age limit to five years is available to SC/ST applicants.

Selection Process
The process of selection is comprised of two phases:
- Selection: The candidates will be shortlisted based upon their abilities and accomplishments in sports. The committee that shortlists them will determine the criteria in this phase.
- Assessment Test The candidates who have been shortlisted take an assessment test that focuses on the most prestigious sports achievements general intelligence, game understanding and personality, as well as activeness along with physical and mental fitness.
