Educational Qualification:
Candidates must pass the 12th standard, or equivalent exam from an accredited Board or University.
Age Limit:
- Class-C stenographer Age range: 18-30 years old as from 01.08.2024 (i.e. applicants born prior to 02.08.1994 and not after 01.08.2006 are qualified to be considered).
- Stenographer Grade D Age range: 18-27 years old as at 01.08.2024 (i.e. Candidates born before 02.08.1997 and not earlier than 01.08.2006 can apply).
How to Apply
Applications should be submitted through the online application on the website that is being developed by SSC Headquarters; i.e., ssc.gov.in. Only applications submitted online are accepted. Applications that are not completed or not filled in could be rejected.
Selection Process:
The process of hiring will consist of an Computer Based Examination, Skill Test as well as document Verification (DV).
Application Fee:
- Application Fee to be paid: Rs.100/-
- Candidates for women, and those belonging of SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-servicemen (ESM) qualified to be reserved are exempt from the payment of fees.
- Fee can be paid via the internet using BHIM UPI Internet Banking or making use of Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and RuPay Debit cards.
