SSC Stenographer 2024 The Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC Stenographer Syllabus and Exam Pattern for the SSC Stenographer Exam. Candidates must have an overall understanding of the test.
- The Level 1 test is split into three sections: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language & Comprehension.
- Tier 1 comprises 200 questions, each of which is worth one point, totalling 200 marks. The time for the test is two hours. The test will be held in English and Hindi apart from those who take the English Language section.
- In the second tier 2 Candidates will be required to complete a shorthand proficiency test in which they listen to the passage being dictated, and then enter it in computers. The speed of dictation in grade C is 100 words per hour (w.p.m.). The speed of dictation of grade D has been set at 80 words per minute (w.p.m. ).

SSC Stenographer Exam Pattern Tier 1
SSC Stenographer 2024 The SSC Stenographer Tier 1 Exam comprises three parts which are: General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Awareness as well as English Language & Comprehension. The test will be conducted online and in the Computer Based Test (CBT) format. It will consist of 200 questions. Each one is worth one mark. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be removed. The duration of the exam is 2 hours. It is administered in English as well as Hindi.

STENographer Skills Test at SSC Schematic
SSC Stenographer 2024 Candidates will receive 10-minute dictation for one of two languages: English or Hindi according to their choice on the online application submission. Tier 2 is an assessment of skills where applicants must compose a paragraph on a subject within 10 minutes at the rate of 100 words/minute (w.p.m.) to be eligible for the Stenographer post Grade C. They will also have to write 80 w.p.m. for Stenographer Grade D. SSC Stenographer Tier 2 is the second step of the selection procedure and is a test of skills.
