Telecommunication Engineering Centre Recruitment 2024 The Telecommunication Engineering Centre is recruiting for 11 positions of Senior Telecom Manager and Assistant Director. The Department of Telecommunication is looking for retired officials from Central and State Governments as well as ex-BSNLor MTNL employees for consulting roles on a temporary contract basis. Eligibility Criteria for Telecommunication Engineering Centre Recruitment 2024
Education Qualification:
1. Assistant Director –
- A bachelor’s level degree is required with a major in Engineering, Technology, or Science.
Experience:-
(i) Formerly retired as an assistant director or the same position in the Central/State Govt. (iii) Retired as a the BSNL/MTNL.
(ii) Or you can retire from a job that has a grade pay of Rs. 4600 (6th CPC) or Level 7 (7th CPC) with at least three years of experience as a JTO.
Desirable:
(i) Experience in Telecommunications or IT.
(ii) Proficiency in MS Office, MS Access, Linux, or RDBMS.
2. Junior Telecom Officer –
- Diploma in Engineering, Technology, or Science.
Experience:
(i) Retirement as an Officer in the Junior Telecom Division or in an equivalent position within the Central or State Govt. such as the BSNL/MTNL.
(ii) Alternately, retire from a position with a grade pay of Rs. 4200 (6th CPC) or equivalent TTA post that has at least three years of experience.
Desirable:
(i) Experience in Telecommunications or IT.
(ii) Proficiency in MS Office.
Selection Process for Telecommunication Engineering Centre Recruitment 2024
The selection process begins with screening of the applicants for eligibility and then a review by a selection committee of three members. The committee will conduct interviews as needed, and the list of consultants selected will be made public via the TEC website. The panel will last for six months with an extension possible up to a year. The Committee will decide on the number of candidates chosen in accordance with the available positions and may modify the criteria for selection as needed.
