Educational Qualification:
1. JRF (Physics & Oceanography/Ocean Technology/Meteorology): Post-graduate Degree in Basic Science on the subject/discipline in 1st Division with valid NET qualification.
2. JRF (For Other): BE/B.Tech in relevant discipline. For more information read the announcement.
Age Limit:
The upper age limit is 28 Years at the time of closing of the application’s receipt. The upper age limit will be relaxed for applicants from Scheduled Castes Scheduled Tribes as well as OBC according to Government of India norms.
Salary Details:
The Fellowships will be granted initially for a period of two years (extendable according to guidelines) with monthly emoluments of Rs.37,000per month plus the house Rent Allowance, as permitted by the rules.

How to Apply
Candidates are required to download and fill out the Application Form according to the format prescribed (available on the official website www.drdo.gov.in). Hard copies of Application Form, along with self-attested copies to prove the requisite education qualifications, matriculation certificate/birth certification in support of the date that you were born, GATE/NET score card (if relevant) that is valid up to the last date for application and the certificate of caste (if relevant) is to be sent via mail in the mail addressed to “The Director, Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory, Thrikkakara P.O., Kochi – 682021” prior to the deadline.
