Educational Qualification
- TGT (Arts): Candidates need to have at least a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)/Shastri (Sanskrit) degree or have a diploma in Commerce or Arts, with a minimum of 50% overall from an accredited university. Alternately, a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from an NCTE recognized institution or an integrated four-year B.A. B.Ed. program that has 50% marks in all subjects is the minimum requirement.
- TGT (Science-PCM and CBZ): A graduation in science, technology or engineering, with minimum 50 percent overall from an accredited university. It also requires a bachelor’s of education (B. Ed.) or an integrated three-year B.Ed.-M.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized school is required. Alternatively, a Four-year Integrated B. Sc. B.Ed. degree with a 50% overall percentage from a NCTE-recognized institution is considered acceptable.
- Hindi Teacher: The degree must be from a recognized institution with at 50 percent of the total marks scored in Hindi for one or more elective or optional, pass or honours subjects, and one or more of these certifications:
- Hindi From Kendriya Hindi Sansthan in Agra, Shikshan Parangat
- The NCTE-recommended B.H.Ed. program from a recognized college or college
- B.Ed with Hindi in Hindi Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha Madras
- Sanskrit Teacher: Graduation with Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit) from a recognized University/Institution and Sanskrit as one of the electives, optional, honours, or pass subjects from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is required.
- Physical Education Instructor: 12th or its equivalent exam and an C.P.Ed., B.P.Ed. or M.P. Ed. from a recognized school or university are required.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between the ages of 21 and 38 years old at the time of submitting their application on January 1 2024. Candidates belonging to restricted categories are eligible to apply for a reduction in the upper age limit according to the rules of the state government.
