The RPSC Recruitment Criteria 2024
Education Qualification
1. Assistant Mining Engineer
- The candidate must hold a degree in Mining Engineering, awarded by a university established under Indian law. OR Diploma in mining engineering from Indian School of Mines and Applied Geology Dhanbad.
Age limit: Candidates should not exceed 40 years of age as per the position they are applying for at the time of the interview.
2. Geologist
- The candidate must hold a Master’s Degree in Geology, or RE in Applied Geology, from a university in India that is recognized by law.
Age Limit: Candidates should have a minimum age of 20 and a maximum of 40.
Selection Process for RPSC Recruitment 2020
The RPSC Recruitment process 2024 begins with a screening exam, consisting of two papers. The screening test consists of two papers. Those who pass will then proceed to the interview phase, where they will be assessed on their communication, knowledge and experience.
The Scheme for Written Examinations for the Post of Geologist
The screening test consists of two papers.
General Knowledge of Rajasthan (40 Marks, 30 Minutes) and Concerned subject (150 Marks, 2 Hours).
The competitive examination will consist of 150 marks, and 150 questions with multiple choice answers. A paper will be given. The paper will last two hours and thirty minutes.
The Scheme of Written Exam for the Post of Assistant Mining Engineer
The first paper is a screening test.
Mining Engineering (150 marks in 30 minutes) 150 points in 2 hours.
The exam will consist of 150 marks, and 150 questions with multiple choice answers. A paper will be given. The paper will last two hours and 30 minutes.

The application process for RPSC Recruitment 2020
Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of the Public Service Commission (RPSC), Rajasthan https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in/ (See the Application form’s link given below).
After registering, go to the “Recruitment Portal”, select “Assistant Profesor Application Form” and fill out the online form by entering all the necessary details. Upload all required documents, submit the application fee and review the form carefully before submission. Print a copy of your form after successful submission for future use.
