RRC South Eastern Railway Recruitment 2024 The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), South Eastern Railway (SER) has issued a central announcement for the hiring of sportspersons against the sports contingent (open announcement) for 2024-2015. The recruitment drive is designed to fill a variety of vacancies across various sports disciplines at various stages within railway unit. This recruitment is aimed at filling 49 vacancies by identifying the most qualified candidates from various departments within the railway system.

Eligibility Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- Level-2 or Level-3 Level-3: Passed the 12th (Plus-II level) or equivalent examination from a recognized body or council. Note: To be eligible for appointment against the sports quota in Technician-III, the minimum education qualification is a 10th grade and a period of training of 3 years, except if an ITI qualifications in the trade concerned is obtained, which limits the period of instruction by six months.
- Level 1 Matriculation Passed, ITI passed or comparable.
Age Limit (As as of June 30, 2024)
The minimum age of candidates should be 18 years old, while the upper age limite is expected to be 25 years by 1 January 2025. Candidates must not have been born before 02 January 2000, or after 01 January 2007.

- Application Fees for UR/OBC Candidates Rs500+ (Rs400 Refundable if one is selected in the test or selection)
- Application Fee for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PWD/Women/Minorities/EBC Candidates: Rs250/- (fully refundable if appeared in selection/trial)

Selection Process
The selection process is determined by the performance of tests for sports, followed by the certificate (sports or educational) certification by a duly appointed recruitment Committee from the railroad. The exact marking distribution for the selection process follows:
