Education Qualification:- Chief Hydrographer (CH)
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Hydrographer Bench the Indian Navy in the rank of Captain.
- You must be an Corporate member of the Institute of Surveyors (India) or equivalent recognized by Govt. of India
- Experience on rivers is highly desirable.
Period of Deputation:
The officer is deputized for a period of 3 years beginning from the date that he takes charge of the post, which can be extended up to two years. However, in certain circumstances, it can be extended to two years, subject to the permission of the lending institution.
Pay Scale:- Rs.1,00,000 – 2,60,000/- at SMP, Kolkata
